Create a Firebase project

Go to console.firebase.google.com → Add project → name it "CareNest"

Enable Authentication

Build → Authentication → Get started → Enable Google and Email/Password

Enable Firestore

Build → Firestore Database → Create database → Start in test mode

Add authorized domain

Authentication → Settings → Authorized domains → Add ad-carenest-nannyapp.vercel.app

Paste your config below

Project settings ⚙️ → Your apps → Web → Copy firebaseConfig object

Get Google Search API (for real nanny data)

Pulls real profiles from Care.com, Sittercity, UrbanSitter & Nextdoor.
a) Go to programmablesearchengine.google.com → New search engine → add sites: care.com, sittercity.com, urbansitter.com, nextdoor.com → Copy Search engine ID
b) Go to Google Cloud Console → Enable Custom Search API → Credentials → Create API key → Copy it
c) In Vercel dashboard → your project → Settings → Environment Variables → add GOOGLE_SEARCH_API_KEY and GOOGLE_SEARCH_ENGINE_ID → Redeploy
